Ripple and Eeepc 901

Hi!
I have now a new Asus Eeepc 901. I want to use >Ripple with it but...how about the function-keys (Fn+F2...Fn+F9) ? In other linux, the recomendation is to install Adam kernel and Elmurato scripts.
What about Ripple?
