Code Browser is a folding text editor for Linux and Windows, designed to hierarchically structure any kind of text file and especially source code. It makes navigation through source code faster and easier.
Compiled in 4.31.

Hi aragon , when it comes to code browses I like it more than medit but less than Geany, Reall the only thing I don't like about it is that theres no "X" button to close the last tab, you have to right click on the file to close the tab.
But thanks for reminding me, I just compiled it for 2.14X :)

I already did that one a few days back for Dpup and included the plugins around 900kb pet size :)

Hey techno do you think you could add a close tab button ?
I like the editor a lot but I hate to have rt click on the text, scroll down and select close.
Just a simple "X" on the tab or the GUI to close the current viewing tab would be great, I asked the developer already but he has better things to do, grrrr.

I know that this isn't what you're asking for specifically, but you can hit the Escape key to close the current window.

You know I quite like this text editor. My first look at left me a bit underwhelmed, but it's pretty nifty once you get the hang of it.

I've quickly put together Genie syntax highlighting and a user tool that will compile what I'm working on, and other to run what I've just compiled.

I like the code folding because it turns it into a - umm - code browser - as well as a text editor.
It's a pretty clever little tool I think.

Yes for the size of it, Its the best by far, I still like Geany the best, but this is #2.

Regarding your request for an "X" icon on the notebook tabs, I checked the application out further and found that it is written in a language that was actually created by the developer called Zinc.

I don't think this means someone else adding such a feature is impossible, but it still might present a bit of an obstacle.

To me Zinc seems to be dwell in the same space as Vala/Genie, but is somewhat based on Ruby in terms of syntax.

Anyway - just thought I'd add that for what it's worth.
