Nice one Tubeguy. It's got that clean, professional feel to it

Thank you! I'm trying to get it in my head that good graphics aren't all gradients and drop shadows. I just wish I had some of the creativity that others do, I'd like to do more than just reassemble other people's stuff in different ways. I feel like I'm doing the hip hop version of graphics.battleshooter wrote:Nice one Tubeguy. It's got that clean, professional feel to it

afgs, I love that.
Two versions of this wallpaper. One with the words "humanity simplified," (lucidsimplified) which is kind of a play on the Ubuntu slogan (although looking back on it now, it sucks lol), and one with no text (lucidsimnotext).
The one titled "1920-variant" is for my own computer, which has the biggest resolution ever (1920x1080). I moved everything around so there wouldn't be as much empty space. If you're using a wide screen, you can just resize this down.
If you want the text removed, I can do that for you.
I have another one that has the Puppy logo, the KDE logo and a heart (it reads as Puppy + KDE = love, basically) for my LucidPup/KDE drive. If anyone is running the same system and wants it, or wants me to do one for their system of choice, let me know. I don't have it on here though. :c

Here's the KDE wallpaper I was talking about.
Because it was originally made for myself (had it not turned out as nicely as I think it did, I wouldn't be sharing it), it only comes in two sizes: the 1920x1080 and the 1024x768.
I can make it with whatever images, colours and sizes you want since I still have the layers (same for the previous wallpaper) so just let me know.

A nice wallpaper for Openbox and Fluxbox
No Puppy logo in this; it's just a 7.1 megapixel photo I snapped last summer, from aboard one of the cross-Sound ferries. The view is looking south, around 10 AM on a beautiful sunny day with a light breeze.
I have found that this photo makes a nice wallpaper for Openbox with the Artwiz theme. Also for Fluxbox with the Stealthy theme, especially with menu transparency turned on.
On a vintage-2001 Gateway FPD1810 flatpanel LCD monitor, with contrast ratio of only 300:1, it looks only so-so.
On a vintage-2005 Dell 2001FP, contrast ratio 400:1, you can almost smell the salt-spray.
On a vintage-2008 Dell 1907FP, contrast ratio 700:1 or 800:1 depending on who you believe, people want to peer into it, looking for killer-whales.
If you wish to include it in a distro, you should load it in mtPaint and reduce it from its original 2.2 MB size, of course.
