New wallpaper

#332 Post by Minnesota »

Could we please have the version number predominately displayed...possibly automatically so when version or level changes it is updated automatically.

Thanks

Those superpup walls get my vote....great stuff!...and what's wrong with the little flying fella as a Puppy logo? (think i might adopt him anyway..) I know we have more logos than you can poke a stick at but i think he's appropriate - ie. small, fast, unobtrusive, a little powerhouse! JMO anyway...

@ xorg, some nice ones there, mate...just wondering if you meant to leave the time (11:17) in the lower right corner of your seapup? It can easily be cloned out but didn't know if you realised it was there or not.

:D

hehe.... you can easily ditch the slackware logo too and put whatever you want. Just use the eyedropper to extract the colour and paint right over it.
ttuuxxx wrote:Hi Mick I like that superpup you made, :) very cute, Barry is thinking about putting as a default image for the next 4.16 release, just one thing, maybe you could get rid of the "S" slackware logo on his chest, since 4.16 isn't slackware, maybe a "P". That would be cool :)
great work.
Yep, done. See the post where I originally posted that wall. :) (back a page  )

Cheers

Or something like Slaxer_Pup-Clouds x...maybe....

@ russoodle
I left the time because I think it makes seapup more like a photo...

Hi WarMock good work, I really like the paw idea. Puppy left a paw in any user that try it for the first time...

Although it look very good, I could be more realistic if you could add other small pools, also the puppy paw borders are a little blurr.

Please go on working in this wallpaper, it´s sweet and one of my favorites.

Ok, I see what I can do. Thanks for the constructive criticism, it's really appreciated. ;-)
I wonder where my other puppy wallpapers are, gotta look for them on my sticks. They are pretty old, but a puppy linux wallpaper has no such thing as age. :D

Well...y'know...the SuperPuppy ain't just a handsome face and you can't be too careful when you venture out in public these days..

Like the tagline on your "serious" effort there...trying to remember where i've seen it before? Doesn't matter though, it's most appropriate 8)
