WHAT IS THE REGISTRAR URL?

I messed it up and cannot find what it is by default.

A message at the bottom says pjsua is starting. It never changes.

Bob, if you haven't already found it Grant's tutorial may help to ease the pain-

http://rbcfaqs.co.cc/PSIP/

I've been trying for some time to get PSip working properly, with only partial success, and to help me troubleshoot I've asked a couple of times for a specimen working config file ... I'm still asking ...

http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=31061&start=150&sid=ff687c236345136c6556f7d6f6fe377e
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=35817&sid=ff687c236345136c6556f7d6f6fe377e

I thought I'd try uninstalling PSip [again] and have a go with Gizmo as was tried back in June ... Lobster, if you're looking, the download links no longer appear to be working on your page

http://tmxxine.com/wik/wikka.php?wakka=LinuxTmxxineGizmo

In the last few days, I've found I can no longer login to Gizmo to view my account log (although they reconfirm my password by email); is it just me, or does it look as if the Gizmo project s starting to come unstitched?

here is my working config with all the comment lines removed
Code:
# cat .psip/pjsua.cfg | grep -v '^#'
--log-file /tmp/psip/app-log
--local-port 5060
--quality 6
--rtp-port 4000
--id sip:hairywill@proxy01.sipphone.com
--registrar sip:proxy01.sipphone.com
--realm *
--username hairywill
--password xxxxxx
--reg-timeout 55
#
a good test is to call yourself
you should hear ringing but if you wait for a while the call should get picked up by the voicemail system
leave a message
hangup
then hit "gizmo voicemail" on the presets menu
wait for it to answer
press the 2 button
you should be able to hear your message

Will's post is very helpful, it seems I can now rule out config errors.

I retain adequate 2-way voice communication with the automated news service; with this the numeric keypad [but not the keyboard] also works - I can test it on the 'stockquotes' ticker symbol bit. I remain unable to make or receive calls. What does this tell me?

In the absence of any better ideas, I shall incline to the view that it is not a PSip or homebrewed problem but that Gizmo is indeed coming unstitched - not only can I no longer get into my Gizmo account details, but trying to call myself from a conventional 'phone no longer works. Last month I could at least leave myself a voicemail [but not take the call] successfully, now the USA access number system seems to have fallen down.

Are others experiencing recent difficulties with Gizmo / having better times with other outfits?

Everything works here. . . though I have not tested to see if a phone call can be made Psip to Psip. It works when calling myself and listening to the Gizmo voice message. The news works.

I used the same Username and Password for Psip and Gizmo.

Only the numeric pad works but NOT the laptop keyboard.

I will set up Psip on one or both PC's here and try a call to them.

Then I will know the whole system works.

Hairywill parameters are the same as mine that was just installed.
