Get PcurlFTP to boot to password required Subject description: puppy ftp server with password required for access
I use Pcurl to give access to file storage on my main computer. I want password required because then users can gain access to their home directory. I have one user whose home directory is /mnt, he can access any mounted partition on my server.
The problem is that Pcurl says it will start the server at bootup but it would only setup anonymous login for me. It added this line to /etc/rc.d/rc.local:
pure-ftpd -zMbBADHk 90 -e -U 022:022
After doing a bit of research and trial and error I found that changing that -e to -E made the difference. It now reads:
pure-ftpd -zMbBADHk 90 -E -U 022:022
and starts Pcurl to password required.
P.S. I also added these lines to rc.local to mount my vfat32 partiton at bootup:
