Subject description: error

I get this error when trying to restore an image

partimage: symbol lookup error: undefined symbol: gzopen64

I would recommend that people use the static version of partimage that is available.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/partimage/files/stable/0.6.4/partimage-0.6.4-static.tar.bz2/download

just extract (partimage & partimaged) to /usr/bin/ or /bin/
then run by opening a terminal/console and typing partimage (enter)

It's only version 0.6.4, but it works fine for my ext3 and ntfs partitions

Hi!

Is there any newer release from the static Version available?
