I have just tried to download two pets by different authors with different addresses, via links on this forum. Both are giving me a "concurrent file download limit exceeded" message. Is this possibly a murga-linux problem rather than one with two authors (or possibly my cable broadband provider? Appreciate feedback (anyone else getting this message?) Thanks Steve |

I just tried downloading something and it worked. Maybe there were just a bunch of people trying to download at once. Does it work for you now? EDIT: The forum was pretty sluggish earlier, but right now it's being snappy. Maybe that's related. Could have been somebody/something trying to download all the attachments (spider?). Oh. I had assumed he meant he couldn't download attachments here, because it would make no sense to think that a problem downloading files from another server was a problem with this forum. But then, I once witnessed a librarian trying to convince this lady that she was accessing the same internet even if it was through the library computers rather than her laptop, so I really shouldn't be making assumptions like that...
