Hello sheepy

You need to remove the space in first URL in your post above. (just after the .net)

SlimPup is great.
I just love its clean, minimalistic appearance. To me that's what a beautiful OS is.

But man, I just had the chance to try 2.9 and now I see 3.1 available?
(I meant that in a good way!)

Is there a possibility of having a one area in the forum to have all things relating to SlimPup? This has been done with Puppee/ Fluppy... :)

Yeah, it's risen from 135mb to 310. The reason why is because I've packed it with lots of essential apps: Skype, Openshot, Gimp, Chromium, Firefox, Inkscape, etc.

hmm. . .
Maybe use tiny gimp (5.5mb)?
And skype, there might be a web version.
Btw, why more than one browser?
Im not critising yr work, but these are some things to consider, or else i will get really fat.

It actually is using the tiny gimp xD As for Skype, I would rather use the actual application than a web version. I included Chromium and Firefox because they both serve different purposes better.
They both take up quite a bit of space, as well as vlc and the rest. They took like 60-90mb each.

The windows versions of these apps, unpacked, are almost the same. also, Wine itself takes up like 90mb. And most importantly, why would we want to use Windoze if we have Puppy<3

lol. I used puppy to play warcraft 3 :s
just to let u know, wine is 90mb when unpacked. When packed, its around 18 to 22mb. Sfs will compress wine.

Of course, but then it would require more hard disk space for the user if they wanted to install it :\
Apps in Wine look like Windows 2000 :( I like the pretty GTK styles xD
