MiPup - new puplet |
|
I made a new puplet based on dingo 4.10
Thanks for all the help on the forum.
MiPup contains:
wine 1.0
vlc 0.9.2
mplayer
pinball
tuxtype2
tuxmath
firefox
audacity
xmms
Almost all packages are the most recent I could find (or make). I do not have time to make it perfect, but here it is.
Edit:
How do I upload a torrent?

Hosts for large files. Mybloop and Filedropper both delete files which expire after 6 months/inactivity but nevertheless offer limits in the gigabytes on single files for no cost.

You might want to log in and add an entry here to use the rss feeds to publicise your pup.

I am uploading a fixed iso, rewriting the old one. This will not need the .pet.

If you have VLC 9.2 working, Did you make a release of it? If not will you?It would save me a lot of time if you had it laying around.

I am uploading VLC and the other pets I used to the same site. Most of them are from the forums.

I repackaged your vlc, I removed all the compiling left over garbage and the end result was it went from a 29MB.pet to a 13MB.pet
here's a link
http://www.puppylinux.ca/tpp/ttuuxxx/programs/multimedia/vlc-0.9.2-i386.pet
Ps it doesn't play dvd's very well,
I'm starting to think that wxgtk is a better way of compiling VLC than using QT4
