Abiword-2.6.6 dotPet

#1 Post by jamesjeffries2 »

Had a quick search and couldnt see a dotPet for the latest abiword so thought I'd mae one.

Could be useful to a lot of people as it has support for docx files, which seem to be all everyone is using now unfortunately.

Need two packages for this to work:

wv-1.0 - word document filter library - http://flyupload.flyupload.com/?fid=255991496

Abiword 2.6.6 - http://www.flyupload.com/?fid=146039637

I'll do the plugins and extras, when i get a chance

EDIT:- just tried to install the abiword dotPet on another machine and it didnt work. Made the menu item etc, but wont open. Got a lecture now, but I'll have a look at why later

acutally found the problem, pkg-config stuff, not sure why it still compiled without finding all the dependencies, but still.

should work when its recompiled. ill set it going now and upload it when i get home again.

sorry for the mix up and delay,
Jim

Ps abiword in the past has been a difficult program to compile, so don't worry much about it :)

ah must have missed this one, got it working now, but a few little bugs. I'll just use your pet instead!

Thanks,
Jim
