i have been playing with a little project i call rampup
and wondered if anyone was interested
it started out as puppy 097
but has changed beyond recognition
this is how it works
a very small iso boots a minimal system in ramdrive
(and i mean minimal) 2 megs
just
isolinux
the kernal
busybox
tinylogin autologin
e3
this system can stand alone
but a little script can mount
an uncompressed file
on the hard drive as usr
this can be x and the rest of the system
however another script can unmount usr
and another different file can then be mounted as usr
this allows you to switch between distros
without rebooting
each usr file can be a different distro
and there is no limit to the number you can have
there is more but this is the basics
if anyone is interested please post
i will post more info as soon as a can
thanks all
