Glib 2.0 development headers needed?

Hello,

- I am trying to install the new version of "Pidgin 2.5.2" from source.

- But when i try to "./configure/" it i get the following error message:

"You must have the GLib 2.0 development headers installed to build."

"If you have these installed already you may need to install pkg-config so i can find them".

- What to do?

- I am using Puppy 4.1

- Found a glib .pet file that Jcoder posted at: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 33&t=34612

- But now i need libxml2 ?
