Chirp - Getting it installed to Slako 6.3... Anybody?

#1 Post by zandoval »

Been trying to get it going and no luck.

Got hung up on using and old chirp.0.4.1 after using sfsget devx... Installed a few things but what is working is to go to a terminal and run chirpw which then gos as far as needing gtk. supposedly if I install python-gtk and python-serial I should be closer to getting it running... But here I go again... So before I go to another clean install of slako 6.3 (cause I know I am going to screw this install up) Is there a step by step method of installing chirp to slako 6.3 that someone has already figured out...

Please don't post the same thing several places in the forum -- and do check your spelling. :)
