I have really been trying to find an answer to the question:
Is Intel Wireless WiFi Link 5000AGN Adapter Series supported by Puppy on Kernel 2.6.25.16?
If so, would really appreciate some help on how to:
Install the driver
Install the firmware
If not, when can I expect it included in the dist?
I find it most disturbing not to have wireless on my laptop - it is like drinking coffee without milk - Impossible
Is Intel Wireless WiFi Link 5000AGN AdapterSeries supported?
There is a notation on this page about Intel Wireless drivers

Also there is a Intel Wifi Linux page here - I'm guessing additional drivers can be put in the / directory and take off the tar.gz as mentioned on the above page.

Best of luck with this. I have not tried this - as I'm using Ubuntu which does support my Lenovo 3000 N500 computer with it's Intel Wireless card - the only Linux distro that I can find that does.
Also just to mention it - some of the newer Lenovo machines won't work with older Puppy Linux - but surprisingly it does with "Lighthouse Pup" - you have to press "F1" go into setup and change the hard drive to emulate IDE. You have to do this with Windows XP with Service Pack also by the way. Windows Vista and Windows 7 both support SATA Drives - and Lighthouse Pup does also - but not the wifi card - maybe I'll try this mentioned trick to see if I can get the wifi to workl.
