rollback/ change ndiswrapper version

I have a Linksys WPC54G v4 pcmcia card - the only version that does NOT use the broadcom driver that is pre installed in most versions of puppy. I am able to get it working using the driver referred to on the ndiswrapper website in puppy 301 but not in any other so I am assuming it is a problem with version compatibility between the driver and the different versions of ndiswrapper.

the version in 301 is 1.45; in nop301r6 it is 1.46 and in dingo I am not sure, but it doesn't work (I have tried other versions of the driver as well with no positive results).

301 is fine but if I wanted to try another is there a way to rollback/uninstall the default version of ndiswrapper and install 1.45?
