OK, I installed MacPup; now how to do some stuff?

Hey,

im completely new to this puppy linux, basically got a few old pc parts pu t together wanted an operating sysytem and bang puppy linux.....

i have macpup as wanted the changed desktop...

but how can i change these things can someone explain icewm a bit more and the gtk thing im not really sure on it as im new:)

so now i have the system up what should i do with it i need some new things any ideas....

also how can i install apllications without an internet connection the internet im on now is an xp system....???

also any help on installing a canon pixma ip1200???

Though your enthusiasm seems to be there, your questions are very vague.
I have a new os/desktop, now what? type questions are hard to answer.

ok sorry for being so vague ill try to be more specific

firstly on my macpup it has no interet connection how can i install other application and programmes on to my macpup?

secondly, ive been searching and seen .deb pacakages as theres loads of these can these be used on puppy linux

also in windows theres the whole .exe , auto run, and booting with files .. whats the equivilant in puppy
