Hi, I'm using 4.3.1 and searched the web several days to get a easy to understand description how to install programs. I'm also using UBUNTU and there is the easy to use apt-get command or by using synaptic. I'll like to install a different mediaplayer on my puppy pc (listen or amarok) and have no idea how it could work. Many tries with the package manager failed.
The second question is how i can add more repositories to the package manager (I read that the ubuntu reps are usefull also for puppy?)
Thank you for your help in advance.

One of several downsides of Using Ubuntu (an african world meaning this-is-another-windows-system-only-miming-Linux) is forget how programs are installed in Linux
- programs are packages
- packages must be downloaded and then clicked to install
where find packages?
around the puppy sites
