Interesting Ttuuxxx, but wouldn't changing it to grayscale like that lose some of the gradients?

Anyway, I wasn't the one who did this icon collection, I just picked the icons out and sized them down. Still, maybe I'd give it ago if I ever got around to it.

Great set Battleshooter and thanks for posting! I even went to the Gnome site and picked up the 10meg file so that I could have a complete set for a "fuller experience" ( whatever that means, eh? )... Later this evening, perhaps tomorrow morn, I'll give them a whirl on my hard drive install of 5.1.0 which has the GTK theme of "MurrineShadow" setup - black background with glassy-orange scrollbars, etc.

Thanks once again Battleshooter!

To the person who was asking about Metacity and how did it run on 5.1.1? Does great! I have it running with LXpanel. Oups! Sorry WhoDo! Can I claim the "Devil made me do it"? ;)

A lot of great icon themes here. Everyone keep up the fab work!

Cheers!/Amicalement!

Sounds great Eyes-Only, looking forward to seeing the screenshot on the "My Puppy is more Gorgeous" thread :)

Here's some new stuff I'm putting together for Puppeee4.4. (except OldSchool, that's sort of a joke.)

So cool Jemimah.

I was going to make Faenza into a theme, but I'm glad you beat me to it. Looks great with that wallpaper :)

The Crystal wallpaper is real awesome as well by the way.

WOW! jemimah! Spell-binding doesn't even begin to describe the Faenza icon set you've made there! Perhaps the Crystal2 but definitely not Faenza.

Good Godfrey... so many beautiful icon sets... so many wonderful puplets... and yet ONLY so few hours in a day ( or even a lifetime for that matter! ). -sigh- It just doesn't seem fair sometimes.

@ Battleshooter! You'd mentioned wanting to see a screenie of the "Black_and_White-2" icons and how I had them setup in the wallpaper section? Unfortunately my friend, I don't do those "wallpaper holding sites" like "ImgSeek" or "PhotoBucket", et al. But if you'd like we could get in touch via private message and exchange email addresses if you'd like and I'd be more than happy to share several different shots with you? :) The icon set looks out-standing in my 2.1.4X install by Tux as well as my Gnome desktop by WOW... One thing I've found rather interesting is that one version used the "white folders" while the other version used the "black folders" ( I can't recall which did what ATM ).

I've got to jet. BIG THANKS to everyone here today for their very beautiful icon sets! I for one truly do appreciate them - and I know others do as well! 10 star rating folks! :D

Cheers/Amicalement,

Hi Jemimah! :)

Yes, thanks! - I was aware when writing the above that you weren't the creator "per se" of the Faenza icon set - but instead you were solely responsible for seeing to it that the .pet was put together so that we fellow Puppians might have the pleasure of enjoying it. ;)

...and "enjoying it" I surely am so doing, believe you me! 8)

In fact Jemimah, so much so that I've taken the time to go around to the various "-Look.org" sites to pick up the full icon sets for installation and use in my sundry and assorted Puppy desktops, window managers, bars, and programmes, etc. I'd totally forgotten how nice a square icon could look when setup in a row - say - like in Wbar for instances, or even BBdock! 8) Stunning!

About the longest I've ever remained with any one icon set was back when Mac's "Pinstripe" was all the rage ( I'd made a set for Windows to be used with a Mac-like shell known as "Aston" many, many, years ago ). I believe I stayed with that set for close to three years as I never seemed to tire of it. On the other hand back then there were few icon sets floating around the net that one could use to replace an entire OS environment... but I ramble here!

I can easily imagine myself sticking around with this Faenza set for a very long time to come! Thank you for having made me aware of them Jemimah! I truly appreciate it. :D

Azenis-blue icons

#240 Post by tataditiditin »

A port of Azenis-blue icon theme (by jameshardy88) for the Puppy Linux desktop.

Tested on Lucid Puppy 5.1.1. I'm not sure that package works in Lucid Puppy 5.1.0 or earlier.

works fine on 4 series but is missing the round red/green/yellow circles for unmounted/mounted/boot locked pupsave drives, basically you can't tell if your drives are mounted, unmounted or booted up/locked

Excuse me that has missed the round red/green/yellow circles for unmounted/mounted/boot locked pupsave drives. What happens is that adding these circles in colors that indicate not combine well with the iconset. It would have been colored cyan and gray, but when I collected the icons did not know how to add the circles. The packed up after downloading to my hard disk for VirtualBox (running Puppy as I have been there since Windows XP) from an FTP where I upload my packages in Zip, but not edited.

The new set of icons that I am preparing to pack and post and have the colored circles, I expected to post very soon.
