Kernel Panic - and other problems
I'm attempting to build a debian based version of puppy.
I've already successfully managed to get apt / dpkg to run on puppy 2.16, (just to see if it was feasable), so now am starting in earnest.
Basically i'm taking a barbones debian system, and using puppy's scripts.
I've replaced vmlinuz with the debian one, but get an error.
No filesystem could mount root, tried cramfs
Kernel Panic - not syncing VFS: unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(1,0)
I guess this means the kernel doesnt have a supported filesystem compiled in, what will this be ? (squashfs ?), can anyone tell me anything else i need to compile in ?, I'm sure the info is out there somewhere, but couldnt find it with a quick search of the forums, and figured it's quicker to ask.
