IPod support for Puppy 4

I have two iPod Nanos, an old 1G 2GB and a newer 3G 8GB. I'm wondering if there are any media players that will work with my iPods?
I've tried just plugging them in and mounting them, but I can only see the files on them, not any music or videos.
Don't have any DRMed iTunes music on them, so don't need iTunes. Just wondering if any other media players will work.
