Problem with hardware init : USB native port

Hi,

My motherboard is an ASUS A7N8X 2-0 an native USB don't work well.
I have compiled ctags (a C program tag database) and install it but when I save my puppy file and reboot, the pc has some problem with native usb and fails to initialize hardware.


So, I have bought a PCI extension card with 2 USB ports which work well but I can't boot my usb puppy key on it because PCI extension card don't seem to be recognize at booting bios.

Someone have an idea to my pb ?
Can I configure my PC to let poweronly on one USB native port ?
OR
Can I boot on my extension PCI USB card ?
