for example i use puppy on EEEpc where no CD and mo modem present
also there's only one disk where the puppy files are( indeed the grub menu does have a direct way to the folder with them, but puppy still searches fro them)
is there any way to change the init script to force unused steps?
also i think this could be used on desktops installations
of course, this new init can be used only on that only particular computer but have a 10-15 boot up is very great
