installing enscript

I'm trying to install enscript using the pb-debianinstaller
First I installed:
libpaper-dev_1.1.21_i386.deb
then I added a symbolic link:
ln -s /usr/lib/libpaper.so /usr/lib/libpaper.so.1

then I wanted to run ldconfig but that command isn't available
so installing libpaper-utils_1.1.21_i386.deb doesn't work out because libpaper.so.1 isn't found ... and I can't install the debian enscript package

any help is welcome

I haven't tested this exhaustively, but I just downloaded enscript_1.6.4-11_i386.deb & libpaper1_1.1.21_i386.deb, extracted their contents to the right locations, and it seems to be ready to go. let us know if this works for you.

I installed the suggested debian-packages and now enscript works like it should.
