Tested in 4.00. Package contains: * Menuentry: Utility => Dupfinder * Bin: precompiled Binary * Missing Symlink (4.00): /usr/lib/libtiff.so.4 => /usr/lib/libtiff.so.3.7.4 [if you got this lib already, it might me better to extract the package by hand...] Package contains NOT: * Console-Version of Dubfinder cheers aragon

interesting It shows 1.94MB of dups in pup_4.00.sfs, just counting the files over 10K it shows
Doh, thinking harder, doesn't squashfs recognise duplicates anyway in its compression routine. I suspect there are no savings here.... move along. 
<edit>Ah does squashfs only recognise files duplicates with the same name? There are at least 180K of dups with different names, probably only saving 60-120K compressed.</edit> _________________ Will contribute: community website, screenshots, puplets, wiki, rss |

i have got virus littered through my multiple storage medias from when i connected frequently at internet cafes (windows) and commuted via usb flashdrives then backedup my flashdrives on my laptop (linux). the virus take the form foldername.exe and show as zero size. problem is dudfinder wont find them with a search term "*.exe". i can zip some of the virus and attach them to the forum if you want to test
