I'm thinking I'll go with pup007 for Pizzapup, but I thought I'd check and see if anyone has a puplet more worthy of the number. Like, a secret agent Puppy that has all kinds of network scanning type stuff or something. If somone has plans for something like that, I'd be happy to leave it open and use pup015 or pup00p (maybe not as that looks like pu poop )
FYI, I think I finally have the applications finalized. The latest iso is ready to burn, then I'll put it through a couple days of use before uploading it. I'm not wasting my time uploading 70+ megabyte rc's this time.
Also, I've updated my website to the bronze account, the server has been upgraded and is now linux, and I'm not a day away from a two-month vacation, so getting it uploaded shouldn't be a problem this time around
Anyone need pup007?

Anyone need pup007?

I really liked your last effort
- it was the first time I was completely convinced of how good icewm is . . . (I have now been seduced by the dark side of the force aka xfce - not to be confused with kfc - Kentucky Fried Chicken)
. . . gosh I hardly know where to turn - download Nathans new graphpup - the beta multisession DVD iso or wait for the pizza
Will you be using the 2.6 kernel?
If I can make a humble suggestion - no no - big Crusty mouth remains shut - I am sure you have done it (was gonna suggest nicer bootup screen)

I think that sounds like a brilliant idea though. A puplet for IT-professionals A nimbler and easier to use version of L.A.S. Linux. What would be a good list of applications for such a puppy?Pizzasgood wrote:a secret agent Puppy that has all kinds of network scanning type stuff or something
fake it until you make it

Yep, I already made a splash that doesn't burn my eyes out when I boot at night. I really shouldn't be talking, though, with that test-pattern screen I made...
Nope, no 2.6 kernal. Messing with kernals is still beyond my knowledge and available time. Besides, I really don't like kernals. I got one stuck in my teeth today, and it wouldn't come out.
I think I will go with pup015. Fifteen seems to be my lucky number or something, in case anyone's wondering why I chose it. I was born on the 15th of March, my life started heading upwards again about when I turned 15, school used to get out at 15:15 (now it's 15:30), and my favorite numbers multiply to 15 (3 and 5).
