what do you mean filename encoding?

You mean assigning MIME types? Create MIME type files under /root/Choices/MIME-types

no,I want to show the filename that containing the Chinese character.
I mount the drive correctly. And can see the character in rxvt-ml,but can't in ROX.
How to make the ROX know the filename encoding and find the correct font?

Yes !

1. Run Chinese typing software (using Xim server)
2. Run ROX 2.4 ! (supported Unicode good)

You can type everythings !

(The same way to typing Vietnamese for file name or folder!)

The ROX in puppy works so well.

Why?
