Ant video downloader add on for Firefox

#1 Post by EdD »

The Ant video downloader came in my upgrade of Firefox to the 60.4.0esr in the Salixesr from the package manager in Slacko 6.3.0 32bit. It requires the native app which I downloaded, but I don't know how to install it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello EdD,

Ant homepage says
This software works only on Windows. Versions for Linux and Mac OS X are under development.
You could install & explore (definitely Puppy-friendly!) "Video DownloadHelper" add-on and see if it fulfills your needs?

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I didn't notice that before. I had been using it on firefox with a slacko version years ago. Guess they made some changes.

The video-downloadhelper addon for firefox makes a good job. I'm in firefox 61.0.1 32bit. Meanwhile it had downloaded over 500 videos from Youtube by that addon. Message about 500 downloads appeared a few weeks ago.
