My favorites from this list is way different, but at-least we have a catalog of all the small games which is excellent :)

What, no Rogue-likes? How can you have a list of good games including classics like Galaga and Tetris, but not include one of the oldest genres for *nix systems? It looks like it is up to me remedy this grave oversight. I present you with the grand-daddy of computer RPGs, the original Rogue-like, Rogue!

It can just be uncompressed anywhere you want it, but it must be run from the CLI. It also includes the manual in .doc format.

Wow, It's not often I feel young, but my commodore64 produced more fancy bits and bytes than rogue54. :D

What a wonderful game.

So you can compile in 3.0 retro but not in 3.0.1 retro? I usually compile in 3.0.1 and then save and reboot with 3.0.1 retro to install.

I built a lite 75mb version of "Fire Hydrant 3.0.1" Because older pc users needed something small to run on there pc's, But The 3.0.1 devx wouldn't compile, so basically I had to use 3.0.1 regular puppy to compile what I needed and switched over to retro. Was a pain but worked out nicely, Now I just found out by you that you can compile with 3.0 which I should of used as the source.

More, more!
Don't know how popular it is, but how do you get the bubble popping game to work in Puppy 4? It's in the Packet Manager with Puppy 3 software, but I can't get it to work in Puppy 4.

Bubbles is written in tcl/tk, so you just need to install the tcl .pet, and the tk .pet, from the pup3 repository. Both are about 500+kbytes.
