Ya, they just upgraded to 1.6.6 yesterday. Crazy.
2.0.0 is a major release though. It has some new features like 64bit VMs, but It isn't compatible with old snapshots anymore, which is really a downside to me. Remember to shutdown the OSs in VBox before upgrading to the new version.

virtualbox can run on windows.

thanks for everything, i have shifted over to virtualbox, host os win xp.
puppy 4 +latest vbox
now can you tell me how to use a shared folder,explain with details ,

UPDATE
i have done it!!! created on from devices menu and used this as shell command
mount -t vboxsf [-o OPTIONS] sharename mountpoint
done!!

Struggling with VirtualBox Guest Additions for Puppy 4.3 - using VBox version 3.08. Would this work for that version too, by any chance? Thx!

thank you for this package. Ive been using it to create netbootable "humungous initrd's". Ive tested the guest additions.
One thing I notice, Im not sure if this is the place to post it...Ive found that the netbootable initrds, when netbooted does not connect automatically to the web at startup (even after running the network setup wizard). However, when I install the same files to a hard drive on the machines, then I do get an automatic connection at bootup. Any ideas?
