MUPPY008

But I do have 1 EVEN bigger problem Mark, I decided to do a fresh install of Muppy008 and be more selective in the stuff i added as with a 446MB distro and most everything included - should be no way i filled a 2G stick in 3 days. So fdisk /dev/sda1 delete make new part. and then write - make bootable and do frugal install of Muppy008. SO fa all good - only problem is when i try to turn off the mup a black screen rolls halfway up the screen stops and thats it. no chance to make a pu_save file all info and work lost. Ok so try again get it where i want it and do reboot this time, screen goes black as expected but then it just stays there. Never gives me ANY options or moves off the black screen - and yes comp power is STILL on. All work lost again. I LOVE MUPPY008 - but will have to give it up if i cant save ANYTHING and have to start fresh EVERY time. Any Ideas - I'll try em ALL to keep the mupster running tis laptop.
I have WAY to much customizing done to turn this thing off unti i Know it will save. So this puter will be on unti I get a Solid answer. HMMMMM maybe Mark will even get a up runtime test out of this, oh and wirelss in MUPPY008 - 110% easier than puppy 3.01 - and yes i love the original but without it we would have these powerr packed versions like Muppy008.....
