I was reading this to see if they mention Puppy
http://www.techwarelabs.com/articles/software/linux-introduction/

They do. Fame at last. Smile However we are classed a "Slackware derivative" ?!
Not so.
3.xx series is Slackware compatible but Puppy was created from scratch.
Puppy is an independent development.

Someone should let it politely be known to the article author (could not find a contact)

Any other examples of misinformation?

I've seen some fairly appalling ones that make you wonder if it is really puppy they have tried. But really, Puppy's own sites are pretty bad at propagating thoroughly misleading out of date information. Even Barry's download page needed some serious revision last time I looked at it..
