Is there also a .pet for the tux commander plugins? So I could get networking functionality...
Or maybe some advice how to install it?
thanks!

I'd like these plugins as well. could you please post, or send to me via email.
Actually, I'm not sure I understand where these plugins are installed to. I actually have the set of plugin library files ...but tux commander does not actually "see" any plugins. I've tried placing the files into various directories - but no avail. Maybe your PET packages will give me the answer. Thanks
Update 20 mins later:
Actually - after some further reading of the source website I realized that tuxcommander looks in certain directories to see if any plugins exist. I simply moved the plugin library files I had into the relevant directory, and they now work - except for the libgvfs plugin.
I started from a terminal screen in debug mode and saw that it was trying to load 2 dependencies which I did not have :
-libgio-2.0.so.0
..so found a PET for that one on the puppy forums and installed
..then complained about missing libselinux.so.1
..so found a PET for that one on the puppy forums and installed
...and then tux commander starts up and sees all the plugins. BUT the network connections (which uses the libgvfs plugin does not work. As soon as you try to make an FTP connection it crashes tux and leaves a message in the terminal window that "symbol lookup error /usr/lib/libgio-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol glib_gettext"
I have no idea what that means ...but I'm guessing that the version of glibgio I have is not quite the correct one. Can anyone help me solve this? or indeed ..can anyone tell me if they are successfully using tux commander to make FTP connections? Thanks

For anyone else who wants the plugs and depends, there here ...http://www.gposil.com/libs.htm.
mow9902, the problem you are having with the network plugin is a bug which the developers know about.
