Hi
I've always used FileZilla for all my ftp uploads, Its a great tool, I wish that they would incorporate it into Kompozer/NVU etc make it more like Dreamweaver. Anyways getting off topic:)
I like your XOOPS website, Your Download sections reminds me of C/NET
your search works well, I only wish that puppy's repository was so detailed, That was the thing when I was a newbee with linux and I went to the repository, I couldn't make heads or tails on what I was looking at, Just file names, Your system is much more user friendly Keep up the excellent work.!
The FileZilla sfs is only 4MB+ maybe you might want to make it as a pet package also and list it in your "Pet"section. Since puppy only allows 3 or 4 sfs on a system at once, and yes I do know about the combiner but most don't
Anyways excellent work

Thank you Ttuuxx. I'd be more then happy to make the .PET and post it. I thought if you didn't select specific packages with the boot manager and just left it on automatic, I would load any and all sfs files ending with _301.sfs well for puppy 3.01 that is. I'll see if I can get the .PET posted tomorrow.

I know I didn't make your requested dot pet yet, but I'll try to get on that today, I needed to ask though, what gave my site away as XOOPS? Not that I care that anyone knows it's a pre-made CMS. But I changed the copyright to that of my own, for the content ofcourse. and the logo is my own.
Also I am also one of those Linux nubs that was so confused at the puppy file repository, and when using UNLEASHED for the first time. you just get a package name, and I'm like WTF does this file do?

Well I have a diploma in Web Development Soooo when I see something I like, The first thing I do is read the code If you read your code you'll see XOOPS in the code.
Also to convert a sfs package to a pet is simple
first make a folder called FileZilla-3.0.8.1
next click on your filezilla sfs, a green screen should pop up and say mounted
next click in the sfs and you'll see all the directories related to filezilla
click and copy each directory into the folder you created called FileZilla-3.0.8.1
now that you have all the files in that folder, open a command line in the folder.
then type dir2pet FileZilla-3.0.8.1 and a little scrip will guide you after that.
very easy
