Since burniso2cd offers (after the burn) to verify whether the burn was good (and at this point notifies the user to make sure the cd tray is closed)...
...it might be a good idea to *not* have burniso2cd auto-eject the cd at the end of the burn, as it now does.
Not auto-ejecting after the burn would save having to reach over and push the "close" button before verifying. To someone who is in a hurry to finish, the requirement to reach over and close the tray before verifying is a @%#! nuisance.
Perhaps a separate "Would you like to eject the cd/dvd?" dialogbox which comes up immediately after the user has closed the "would you like to verify?" dialogbox, would be ideal.

Interesting perspective. Maybe it depends on how good one's burner and CDs are.
burniso2cd has been a superb simple and reliable utility for years. I have never bothered to verifiy a burn with it. Of course then in the rare event of a bad live CD I don't know where the error came from since I don't do a checksum either Good broadband connections spoil those of us who have them.
But yes, a "Would you like to eject the cd/dvd?" dialog wouldn't hurt.

I agree... It's MUCH better to have the option to enable or disable the tray openingSit Heel Speak wrote:...it might be a good idea to *not* have burniso2cd auto-eject the cd at the end of the burn, as it now does.
.. then you can do unattended burning... without my external dvd writer banging into my cup of tea and knocking it off the desk.. again..
