"SystemRescueCd 1.5.5 comes with new installers for Linux and Windows that make it easy to install SystemRescueCd on a removable device.
In other words it will be possible to just download the ISO image and run the installer.
By installer they mean install to the moveable device. CD/DVD/USB if I get it.
Using that one to "rescue" the computer.
What kind of diagnostics does such a rescue cd have? Could puppy have added programs that do the same thing.
The second thing that inspired me was the experience of several of us not being able to easily help a guy with a Toshiba Laptop that fail to reboot even the CD with puppy on it.
Which log would have any logged info that could help with diagnostic on what goes wrong?
If we had some kind of diagnostic/rescue iso of puppy then every time somebody have an error that none of us are able to figure out then just run that iso and it should give enough error messages to be of great help?
Am I too naive?
