Intel 4965 Wireless Problems Subject description: Intel 4965 / ndiswrapper / driver will not work
Has anyone had success with the Intel 4965 wireless card? I was able to configure my Netgear WG111 with ndiswrapper, and it works. I used ndiswrapper with the windows xp driver for the Intel card, but it says it is not the right driver. Any suggestions? How do I use the Linux driver for this card in puppy?

Intel 4965 does not work in puppy Subject description: The drivers are open, so why aren't they supported?
I have had the same problem for months. I have tried all the windows drivers available for my the intel 4965 chipset, but it just does not work. I get just where you are.
The funny thing is that the linux drivers are openly available from Intel. They are not proprietary, which should make it an easy option for including. Don't get why it's not being done (when ignoring labor, of course) ... Should be an easy snatch from Ubuntu, for instance. They have it running.
