libburn-0.4.4 (cdrskin) command line cd burning utility

#1 Post by plinej »

This was compiled in Puppy 4 and may not work on other Puppies.

Another linux alternative to cdrecord & wodim but written from scratch (unlike wodim that forked off of cdrecord). It accepts most of cdrecord's options but not all of them yet. It doesn't accept -overburn but most other normal everyday stuff is supported.

http://libburnia.pykix.org/

for help type:

# cdrskin --help

for cdrecord compatible options type:

# cdrskin -help

I'll include a separate package for the dev files incase you need them.

This is another of the libburnia packages.

This program creates, loads, manipulates and writes ISO 9660 filesystem
images with Rock Ridge extensions. Write targets can be drives with optical
media or local filesystem objects.

for help type:

# xorriso -help

updated to the latest version.

It now supports DVD+R/DL media and allows experimentally to write to BD-RE media.
