PeaZip

#1 Post by koolie »

Peazip is a self-contained archive utility. (no dependencies),
and it knows about dotpups.

Available here

The link is for GTK1!!!

Dear koolie and MU,

Many thanks for the link, koolie. It looks like a very useful program that, more or less, does it all. Too bad it's a bit heavy in terms of bytes, so it woudn't be suitable for a standard puppy distro. It's fine on my bloated puppy, however.

Our readers should be aware that the link above (for the dotpup) is for the GTK1 version, which looks awful as compared to GTK2. As all puppies have GTK2 these days and the binaries are nearly identical in size, why not a dotpup of the GTK2 version? It really looks better. The GTK2 version (source and binaries) is also available at the PeaZip download site given in Mark's post.

With kind regards,
vovchik

Hi! Thank you very much for the appreciation for PeaZip.
Next week I'm going to publish new version 1.7 (I'm actually testing it), so look for the update soon!
