latest lassie revision uploaded

#1 Post by tronkel »

The latest revision of the Lassie sfs module is available here:

http://www.puppylinux.ca/tpp/tronkel/lassieR3_302.sfs

Contains Osmo, Firefox 2.0.0.12, Sylpheed and a cut-down EZpup301, but with all themes.

Suggestions and feedback welcome.

OK updated wiki
running Lassie SFS release 2 now
typing from inside icewm

I like the golden mountain default wallpaper - notice a few more will check them out
Firefox is always simple and straightforward
For those wishing to try the icewm component
- press ctrl + alt + backspace and type xwin icewm

I must say that JWM is so good that with suitable themes it might be faster and better than icewm? Be interested what others feel . . .

Adding an "CE SFS" with possibly a whole range of sfs is the right way to go :)

Just first impressions - good stuff - woof woof :)

Yes, the Latest JWM is also very smart in the latest 302Alpha.
Even if you are using the lassie sfs, you still have JWM available. Just exit to prompt and type "xwin jwm"

I'll leave JWM as the default in Chihuahua barebones edition in case users don't need/want Lassie.

If I can find a functioning XFCE package, I'll do a Lassie version of that as well. Also a version using KDE as a third alternative.
