Help me select the startup song for MATH PUP

#1 Post by cb88 »

check out the songs you like and give me some feedback!

http://modarchive.org/browse.php

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Module_file

the song will be a tracked module... in a format playable by xmms available from http://dotpups.de/dotpups/Multimedia/xmms-1.2.10.pup

currently my top picks are Karsten Koch - Aryx and Kopernik - control most of the songs by Falcon (like Her spirits rise) and Elwood - Fall From the Sky ... they are all included in MATH PUP already but don't play at start up

i have switched the puppy bark in /usr/sbin/delayedrun to start xmms /path/to/song

also I forgot to mention MATH PUP also contains soundtracker so you can even make your own tracked modules!

MODs... Now there's something I was meaning to look into then completely forgot for several years! Since even before I started using Linux. Too bad I don't have time tonight. Maybe this weekend or something.

On a marginally related note, were you doing a Physics Pup and using a more normal audio format, I'd point you to this spoof I wrote back in tenth grade:
