FIREFOX 2.11 +Java 6u3 +FLASH 9.0.115.0 Latestx3 |
|
Ok This took hours, Its the 3 latest versions Of Firefox,Java,Flash.
Firefox is made as default Browser. For once all 3 applications have no missing Libraries/libs. I made it on puppy 3.01 using it live with no added applications, that way i was guaranteed to have 100% Libraries. I tested each application and no errors. So basically this should be a very stable version.
So enjoy Merry Christmas and Happy New Years

Hello,
Thank you for your package.
I have tested it on Puppy 2.14R, 2.17.1, and 3.01
It seems to run very nice with Puppy 3.01 but I have found firefox 2.0.11 unstable with Puppy serie 2.xx versions.

It works with Dingo Alpha3 |
|
Hello; thanks for this package. The installation was fine in Dingo a3, but did warn about a missing dependency. See screenshot. Is this significant?
One further addition that would be most helpful would be the Real Player plugin. Clicking on 'Missing plugin - click here to install' seems to have no effect, so there must be more to do.

File isn't downloading |

Am I the only one having this problem? The file appears to be timing out after 15-25KB. I've tried three different computers running both puppy and windows with the same result.
Help!

I just tried it and it works perfect, Maybe try a proxy, maybe your isp is blocking it, Here's one http://www.proxyindex.com/proxy.php?q=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5wdXBweWxpbnV4LmNhL3R0dXV4eHgvcHJvZ3JhbXMvRmlyZWZveCtKUkUrRkwvZmlyZWZveC5wZXQ%3D&p=1e3

Hi the best way to add any mediaplayer to firefox, is MediaPlayerConnectivity
it allows you to select which media player opens what type of file which is great if you want realplayer to open rm and movie files but you also want to open mp3's with xmms or any other player, here's a link
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/446
I'll look in for the real media plugin your searching for in the next few days once i settle in, I've been camping for around 1.5 weeks and need to get rid of a cold and sun-burn. ttuuxxx

Hello ttuuxxx,
That mediaplayer addon for firefox appears to work in seamonkey 1.0.6 for the record.
