shared libraries are missing

#1 Post by Joydeep »

Dear all,

finally I have made a CLI based puppy. but the "ls" and "cat" command throws an error that " not found shared libraries libattr.so.1" So I am eager to know which library package provides all these shared libraries ?

thanks in advanced.

http://www.puppylinux.ca/ttuuxxx/Libs/libattr.so.1
if you need more feel free to download the missing ones needed :)

Depending on which pupversion you've based it on, ttuuxxx's link here has it:

Ok Joydeep that listing has over 2000 Libs and 800MB+ you will never need over 10% of them plus lets think of Erics server Bandwidth also, lol Those Libs will always be up on that server anytime you want one just point with the mouse the one you and right click and select "Save Link As" and thats it, If you wanted to manually get the list as it sits, you can download and install the latest Slackware Distro like i did Then copy the /Libs and Usr/Libs files and compress them using PeaZip and then you'll have your own personal copy. The Cd is only a 700MB download Unlike the 800MB+Libs. Plus the Slackware servers are really fast. After I installed Slackware I booted puppy to remove the libs, That way none would be locked. Good little trick.:)
