alternative

Alternatives are always useful.

However, I agree with the observation that the side opening (for cooling) will make the Classmate vulnerable to rough conditions.

In the future, a low-power processor from Intel (comparable to the Geode of AMD) will be introduced (possibly the SilverThorne). That and this experience with Hacao will be useful for packaging the future alternative educational offering from Intel.
