Questions about Pizzapup |
|
Trying out Pizzapup and am impressed with it's look and speed just running it in ram. The application menu seem kind of small though, how do I enlarge it? What is the package manager in this OS and where would I find it. Apparently, this distro is supported with Slackware? How would I find what programs are available in their repositories and install them? Thanks.

-package manager click start menu/setup/puppy package manager
also for slackware package manager you should install Gslapt you can get it here ---> http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?search_id=1114787840&t=21908
Also puppy software install is another nice package manager you can get it here --->

I think pizzapup uses icewm?
In that case, edit /root/.icewm/prefoverride
Here is the one from Muppy008:
Code: | # Font Specification
TitleFontNameXft = Bitstream Vera Sans:size=15:bold
MenuFontNameXft = Bitstream Vera Sans:size=15
MinimizedWindowFontNameXft = Bitstream Vera Sans:size=15
ActiveButtonFontNameXft = Bitstream Vera Sans:size=15
NormalButtonFontNameXft = Bitstream Vera Sans:size=15
ToolButtonFontNameXft = Bitstream Vera Sans:size=15
NormalWorkspaceFontNameXft = Bitstream Vera Sans:size=15
ActiveWorkspaceFontNameXft = Bitstream Vera Sans:size=15
QuickSwitchFontNameXft = Bitstream Vera Sans:size=15
ListBoxFontNameXft = Bitstream Vera Sans:size=15
StatusFontNameXft = Bitstream Vera Sans:size=15
ToolTipFontNameXft = Bitstream Vera Sans:size=15
ActiveTaskBarFontNameXft = Bitstream Vera Sans:size=15
NormalTaskBarFontNameXft = Bitstream Vera Sans:size=15
ClockFontNameXft = Bitstream Vera Sans:size=15
InputFontNameXft = Bitstream Vera Sans:size=15
MenuIconSize=16
SmallIconSize=16
LargeIconSize=32
HugeIconSize=48 |
This might work in Pizzapup, too.

Tried your command and a number of variations and couldn't get the same result.
Any other ideas? Once I do get the result you've shown how would I adjust the setting to get a bigger start menu? Thanks.

What you are after is a icewm problem and the puppy main resident who is a guru of icewm is whodo, I would say he is an expert on icewm and maybe you could ask him, here's a link to his main questions/answers page.
