Alpha 1 (puppy-4.00alpha3.90-k2.6.21.7) couldnt find my scsi drive.
I boot from ide and then mount scsi.
Pup 2.17 can mount scsi.
Alpha1 doesnt even acknowledge its existence.
Is that fixed in alpha 2?
pup is a real slow download, so i dont want to bother trying till the scsi problem is fixed.
On a separate note, is 4.0 able to upgrade from 2.17 save file.
Save file is backed up on scsi.
Thanx
Dingo alpha1 and alpha2 has a cutdown zdrv file and probably a driver needed for your scsi drive is missing.
Dingo alpha releases should not be used to upgrade any existing pup_save files.
