Shockwave-Flash TEENpup - Some Work Some Not? Subject description: Shockwave-Flash Web Sites Unpredictable
I am running TEENpup on this laptop.
Some Shockwave-Flash sites work and some do not.
This ones here work (#'s 5 & 6 on the menu under the picture):

But this doesn't:

Any idea why? _________________ Thanks! David Home page: http://nevils-station.com Don't googleSearch!http://duckduckgo.com

Yes my idea is that adobe sucks because they don't make Shockwave for Linux only mac and windows,
They also don't make Photoshop or Dreamweaver for Linux but the make them for windows and Mac.
I personally think that adobe should take Linux a a viable alternative to Windows and Mac's.
There are some open sourced Shockwave platform clones in beta form but haven't been compiled for puppy yet.

Hello edoc,
I've heard that some Linux users are using Wine and Windows shockwave plugin / player in firefox to view shockware websites. I think that they even have to install the windows version of firefox for the plugin to work?
I think that if you did a web search you'd find more info about how to do it.
I don't want to try and do this as I feel I would be letting Linux down as my goal if for a Linux only Operating System. _________________ Legacy OS 2 Released! Install me on a new! EXT2 Partition with 500Mb of swap and I'll be happy.
