Mezzo/Symphonyos for Puppy's desktop

mezzo is a new desktop sytem available within symphonyos. It looks very customisable and easy to learn to use. Unfortunately, at the moment its only available tied to knoppix which makes it very slow. I'd like to see it tied to puppy! I'm not sure how easy it would be to seperate from knoppix. Anyone got any tips as how to go about doing this? Thanks. Read about mezzo here: http://www.symphonyos.com/desktop.html

First of all browse for it on the net and see what size it is then try to find out what dependencies it has.

You can now download mezzo at the symphony os website. The package isn't too big (429k in tar.gz), but I think there are more things attached to make it work.

I would love to use mezzo in Puppy. Knoppix is too big for old computers.

I am going to give it a go see how puppy likes it?
I do kinda like it, but it needs much improvement for the typical user
After looking it over it comes with some stuff that can be replaced
with puppy's stuff, I don't know aboot this???

38 meg? Did someone say 38 meg? That is the size of BareBones - just for the interface . . . [Lobster faints ]

. . . after resucitat - resussyta . . . re-sucistat . . . after waking up I commend your enterprise. The interface IS superb and I wish you every success.

38 meg now - does not mean 38 meg after the shears . . .Also the design points made are all most sensibly argued - the point is how would it feel in use . . .

Gosh KDE (aka Krazy Puppy AND Mezzo Puppy) - whatever next . . .

PS. Where is that Krazy Pup?

I can't believe what they put in their post about puppy not being able!
The developers are mistaken, and I hope that someone challenges their beliefs
about what puppy could have done for their desktop!
It is a shame that puppy gets overlooked, the best reason I like it is that you add what you want!
But to their lack of brainpower the symphonyos team in my eyes made a bad decision.
But it is likethey wanted it another 700mb distro. Stupidity, they think they need more,
but they don't know.

Please someone make a the symphony desktop work on puppy just to show those
brainless idiots know what they missed out on!!!
