Hallo,
ich versuche schon seit einiger Zeit mit Puppy ins Internet zu kommen, jedoch erfolglos.
Mit allen anderen Linuxdistributionen (Knoppix, Suse, Ubuntu) ist das gar kein Problem.
Ich benutze eine FritzBoxSL ohne Router als DSL Internetzugang. Der Zugang wird eigentlich automatisch bereitgestellt, man braucht sich also nicht einwählen.
Ich habe, glaube ich, nun schon alle Treiber ausprobiert, mit einwählen (was eigentlich sowieso Unfug war) und ohne und weiß absolut nicht mehr weiter.
Wer hat noch einen Tipp für mich?

Hast Du einen besonderen Grund, die FritzBox nicht als Router laufen zu lassen? das funktioniert nämlich wunderbar. Wenn Du sie als DSL Modem laufen lässt, geht es mit RoaringPenguin PPPoE auch recht gut. Den RP habe ich einmal kurz ausprobiert, ist ziemlich selbsterklärend.

bonjour
puppy funktionniert erstklassig in DHCP per LAN. Fritz-Box normalerweise auch. Ich war monatelang im alten Puppy mit einer Fritz-Box im internet! Zwar habe ich heute die Sphairon TURBOLINK IAD-Box bei weitem lieber als die Fritz-Box, aber das geht auch...

Mit Puppy 3.1 gings wunderbar, ohne Probleme; aber keine Ahnung warum.
