Yes Lobster, But when it came to firefox i've always had a problem with it recognizing the file system, This newer version seems to pick it up much easier :) also it opens up files with xachiever. The only problem It seems to have is that the forum icons look crummy the edging is way off.

My other OS is Win ME and seeing beta 1 worked so well with Puppy I went ahead and downloaded beta 2 for Puppy and Windows. I was very surprised to find out that Firefox 3 will no longer support 98se or ME. Just win 2000 or better.

Maybe it just a temp thing until the final release comes out, windows me and 98se are still good alternatives for older pc's that aren't running Linux and would be a shame to close the doors on them like that ! also; when you can buy them on ebay for like $20 or less compared to $100 for xp.

I hope it is only for the beta.
The one thing that I really like about Ver:3 is the pause & resume in the download manager.
It works really good. I paused a download, hung-up, closed Firefox and and started it all up again and was able to resume the download with no errors. 8)
